Eve de Castro-Robinson (b. 1956) is an influential figure in the development of New Zealand music, and one of the leading voices of her generation. She teaches composition at the University of Auckland, where she was awarded a Doctor of Music in Composition in 1990.
Her ability to express humanity through vivid sonic means has produced works ranging from intimate solos, through dramatic works, to these large scale orchestral canvases.
5 stars “palette of many colours…primal percussion… a never-ending source of adventure.”
