Bridget Douglas & Carolyn Mills are Flight & this is their self-titled debut album.

Flight showcases the pair’s exceptional collaborative ability with exquisite modern pieces for flute & harp, several of which were written especially for this CD release.

Bridget Douglas is the Principal Flute of the NZSO & Artist Teacher of Flute at Victoria University of Wellington. She is also co-founder of the contemporary music ensemble STROMA.

Harpist Carolyn Mills has been described by critics as a musician of “great sensitivity & technical accomplishment” & “intense expressiveness” & was appointed Principal Harpist of the NZSO in 1989.

Mills’ previous Atoll CD releases include Mirage, which quickly reached the NZ Top 10 Classical Chart & was chosen by the NZ Listener as one of 2002’s “Ten Best Classical Albums”.
