The album is a flowing musical tribute to Katherine Mansfield (d.1923). It launches the exciting duo of German-based soprano Natasha Te Rupe-Wilson and pianist Somi Kim. Includes the world premier recording of settings of five Mansfield poems composed by Janet Jennings and the ravishing La chanson d'Eve of Gabriel Fauré, Parisienne contemporary of Mansfield; plus Jennings' settings of Ursula Bethell's whimsical poems about gardens.
